When the World Rejects You

When the World Rejects You

Reflecting on the Shedeur Sanders situation helped me see something: Sometimes, people don’t reject you. They reject the presence you carry.

Shedeur doesn’t just step onto the field as an athlete. He steps on carrying his father’s legacy, standard, and name.

And it hit me —
When you’re a child of God, you carry His presence, His authority, and His name into every room you enter. Not everyone will celebrate that. Some won't even understand it.

Jesus said:
"If the world hates you, understand that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you."
(John 15:18–19 CSB)

If you’re facing rejection today, stand firm. Rejection isn’t your downfall — it’s your distinction. It’s not you they’re not welcoming — it’s the mantle you carry.
