Stop being cheap about investing in your spiritual well-being -- your connection and relationship with the Divine One. Your inner or higher self deserves much more attention and investment than all of the other things you've invested in and given yourself to over the years.
All of the tangible things that you've exhausted your resources on will get old, boring, start to fade, start to sag, break down, and eventually have to be discarded when you pass away. However, the one piece of you that will remain, the intangible -- you treat as though it doesn't matter. It does. Invest in it.
