Just because you believe God is not pleased with you, or something you may do or may be doing doesn't mean that God has stopped or will ever stop loving you.
We often equate the love of God to the love we receive from others like our parents, spouses, significant others, friends, loved ones, etc. This kind of love is often based on a sort of performance. It is based on conditions. It is fickle and failing. Yet, that's not how God's love is. Nor is it how God loves us.
God's love for us is not based on our performance. It’s based on God's love and God's love alone. God's love is the greatest love. It is invaluable, indescribable, and unmatchable. It is a love we can't quite fathom, and we prove it over and over again. Because we keep trying to earn it even though we could never meet the standards through our own efforts or merit to afford it.
God's love is the kind of love which makes me want to love and show my love for God and to God -- more and more. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Translation, nothing can make God stop loving us. God's love is so good!
